These caskets are made of rigid pressed paper board and covered with a biodegradable paper handmade using centuries-old papermaking techniques. They are suitable for natural burial and clean cremation. To create the white Floral caskets, the bark from the mulberry tree is harvested, leaving the tree intact. It's then soaked, made into a pulp, and spread out onto bamboo screens. Floral petals are inlaid before the sheets are spread onto the screens to dry in the sun (Solar Power!). The wood grain bark is harvested in such a way as to preserve the tree for future harvest.

Each casket includes a simple, natural cotton interior that lines the base of the casket. We encourage you to add your own natural linings, including a favorite blanket, or perhaps a bed of flowers, grass or straw.
